From the 25th of may to the 11th of june it's celebrating the major light, music and ideas festival in Sydney, Australia, all around the city. 

Mi padre tiene la suerte de estar viviendo allí y me ha enviado algunas fotos de edificios decorados con luces de colores. Simplemente precioso! 
My father, a lucky man, is living over there at the moment, and sent me some pictures with plenty of custom buildings. Just gorgeous!

Este fin de semana me topé con una feria medieval en Torredembarra, cerca de Tarragona. He de admitir que me encanta comprar pan, queso y sobre todo sales y jabones naturales. 

This last weekend I was in the middle of a middle ages fair in Torredembarra, near Tarragona. I have to admit that i love buying bread, cheese and especially bath salts and natural soaps. 

Encontré este pequeño están lleno de jabones y no pude resistirme. Parecen pasteles!

I found this little stan with plenty of soaps and couldn't resist. Seems like pastries!

Acabo de descubrir un libro increíble. Me encantan las ilustraciones artísticas de moda y en este libro se encuentran 500 dibujos de campañas y galerías de diferentes artistas, como James Jean colaborador de Prada, Laura Laine y Akari Inoguchi.
I have just discovered an extraodinary new book. I love artistic fashion illustrations. In this book we can find 500 drawings of campaigns and galeries from differents artist like: James Jean collaborator with Padra, Laura Laine and Akari Inoguchi.

Cuando veo estos libros me encanta coger un pedazo de papel dos lapices y con un poco de música sumergirme en el dibujo!

When I check out this kind of books, makes me wanna get a piece of paper and a pair of pencils, put some music and submerge into a new artwork.

Para el cumpleaños de mi prima pequeña de 12 años ya le hice un calendario personalizado de cumpleaños 2012 a cumpleaños 2013. Gracias a dios le encantó el regalo! Es una buena solución si no tienes mucho dinero y no sabes que comprar, eso si, as de tener tiempo. 

For my cousin's birthday i made a customized calendar from her month of birth 2012 to 2013. 

Thanks God she fall in love with it! It's a great solution if you don't have enough money for a present or you don't know what to get, but you need plenty of time tho.

Hablando de poner le tu nombre o diseño a una bebida, la cantante M.I.A le a dado color a la cerveza Beck's con su propio diseño junto con otros 6 artistas más, para rediseñar la marca de la cerveza. 
Talking about putting your name in a drink, the singer M.I.A put some color in her design for Beck's beer along with 6 other artist to redesign the label.

M.I.A hizo el diseño de la cerveza durante la grabación de su video clip Bad Girls.

Libro & Canción del mes

Ya lo se, lo he hecho mal.. Antes va el libro a la película. El pasado día de la madre fui con mi madre a ver Los diarios del Ron, protagonizada por Jhonny Deep, y me enamore de la película con solo ver el trailer.
I know, I did it in a wrong way.. Read the book before you see the movie. The last mother's day I went to the films with my mother to see The rum Diary, with Jhonny Deep as the main chacarter, and I felt in love with the movie.  

Me han dicho que el libro es cien veces mejor que la película y no puedo esperar a empezarme lo.
I have told that the book is hundret times better than the movie, so I can't wait to start reading it. 

La canción de este mes a sido mi aliada durante mi proceso de levantarme por las mañanas durante estos días. Me alegra el día entero y me da energías para ponerme a estudiar los exámenes finales. 
The song of this month have been my wake up song these last days. It makes my day, gives me energy for waking up process and to make myself start studying for the last final exams.

La actriz Drew Barrymore crea su primer vino! Se trata de un pinot grigio hecho con uvas italianas del norte. 
Drew Barrymore has create her new wine! It's a pinot grigio, made out with grapes from north Italy.

El vino ha ganado ya un premio en Le Challenge International du Vin. Aún no lo he probado, pero como amante del vino, sobre todo del blanco, no puedo esperar a encontrar la botella en España. 

The wine already won an award in Le Challenge International du Vin. I haven't tasted already, but as a wine lover, specially white wine, i can't wait to get a bottle in Barcelona.

De momento solo la puedes encontrar en Nueva York a partir del 3 de Mayo, por unos 20$.

El otro día buscando entre cajas de ropa del año pasado, encontré mi vieja camisa tejana. Hacía tiempo que la tenía olvidada y pensé en ponerle unos apliques en las puntas del collar. 
The other day looking around the last year clothes boxes, I found my old denim shirt. It's been so long I didn't remember i had it, so I thought about putting some collar tips in it. 

Parece una camisa nueva, y tengo que reconocer que me encanta este look del Far West que tiene ahora la camisa. 

It looks like a completly new shirt and I have to say that I love this look of Far West that it has now. 

Puedes comprar las aplicaciones a parte, yo conseguí las mías en una tienda de segunda mano del Raval.

You can buy the collar tips seperetly, I found mines in a second hand store in Raval, Barcelona.

Puedes crear otros tipos de aplicaciones, ya sean con tachuelas, perlas, etc. Te dejo algunos ejemplos para inspirarte. 

You can create differents collar tips with like, pearls, tacks, etc. I let you some examples to inspire you. 

Conejo gigante en la ciudad

Acabo de descubrir, gracias a unos amigos, a un peculiar escultor holandés, Florentjin Hofman. 
Una de sus obras que mas gracia me ha hecho, la construyó para la biennale del año pasado en Suezia. 
I have just discovered, thanks to a couple of friends, a quite particular sculptor from rotterdam, Florentjin Hofman.
One of my favorites artworks have been build for the last summer biennale in Sweden.

Se trata de un conejo amarillo de 13 metros de altura, colocado en la ciudad de Örebro

The art work is based in a 13 meters hight yellow bunnie in the midle of Örebro. 

La escultura acogió a mas de 25 voluntarios locales para ayudar a Hofman a crear la obra a partir de tablas de madera manufacturadas localmente.

Hofman's sculpture involved the locals with more than 25 volunteers and craftsman coming together to construct the rabbit, out of locally-manufactured shingles and a wooden armature.

Illamasqua me ha sorprendido con este diseño de uñas en 3D.
Illamasqua has surprised me with this amazing new design of nail polish in 3D.

Aunque sería incapaz de llevar unas uñas así, me a gustado mucho la idea de jugar tanto con los colores y las formas geométricas llevando el esmalte de uñas a otro nivel. 
I would never wear a nail polish like this one, but i love the idea about playing with colors and geometric shapes, leading it to another level.
